I am a highly experienced, forward thinking  pharmacist with extensive knowledge of the American Pharma industry. My range of experience and knowledge enables me to radically improve “profitability” within  the pharmaceutical system. I achieve this by implementing new strategies to increase and streamline efficiency and upgrade the “system”, notably within pharmaceutical settings. I am a resilient, highly motivated personality with an irrepressible curiosity for forward thinking and innovation. Career History
I recently worked as pharmacist in Spanish Harlem. New York. As  Pharmacist I was responsible for managing and training personnel in three newly opened drug stores, whilst nurturing patient care. The challenging climate of dealing with the poor and destitute, including  the H.I.V clientele, in the community was receptive to the innovative , informative and educational approach of my managing style. I am currently working as a consultant pharmacist throughout the metropolitan N.Y.C area.

 

Quick RX Pharmacies
Pharmacist, responsible for the intake and reading of prescriptions. Processing of information in the micromerchant software. Increased prescription volume while consulting with patients on proper medication compliance. Lectured patients in H.I.V Hospice on the 1st December World A.I.D.S Day on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

B&K  Pharmacay – Brooklyn, New York
Advised hospital administrations about the proper delivery and filling of protocol H.I.V medications. Replenished and maintained inventory from Kinray and H.D Smith drug wholesalers. Monitored drug-drug interactions.

Shop-Rite Supermarket Pharmacy -
Aided in the transition between ownership inventoried class II –V controlled substances. Treated and disposed of expired merchandise in the proper manner. Preserving  environmentally sound practices.

Africk Website Drugs –Queens New York
Instituted  with directory  personnel a program for the electronic prescribing and filling of prescriptions. Reviewed patient profiles in order to expedite the delivery via Fed Ex throughout the country of weight reducing and analgesic drugs. Introducing the economic availability of Plan B throughout the cyberspace network..

Sunset Pharmacy – Brooklyn New York
Obtained lease to occupy premises for drug outlet. Conferred with professional personnel in the composition of a S.B.A Business Plan to obtain funding to open pharmacy in destitute area, serving the underpriviledged Black and Hispanic population of Brooklyn. Obtained D.E.A certification, pharmacy registration, sales tax certificates for new business. Attended community board meetings, church meetings police activities, and seminars for children.

Pathmark Supermarket Pharmarcies – New Jersey
Worked as a floater throughout the State of New Jersey . Covered time for those pharmacists that were out on sick leave, disability and vacation time throughout the State for Pathmarks 142 pharmacies .

Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center – 1989- 1992
Served as evening pharmacist in a 800 bed major medical  hospital in the Metropolitan area. Added and deleted from patients profile. Taught nurse proper procedure of storage and administration of drugs. Inventoried medication and crash cart for both acute and chronic patient population.
